Mark Krakowski

Mark has a BA (History) from the University of Western Ontario, and an MA (Sociology) from New School University (formerly The New School for Social Research), New York City. Mark's work history encompasses a wide range of experience in the Labour Movement, including about 20 years as a union organizer and educator with the Public Service Alliance of Canada and in project development with the Commonwealth Trade Union Council in the English speaking Caribbean. He served for nine years as a Workers' Representative on the Board of Referees with the Canadian Government's Employment Insurance Commission. He has also worked as a Human Rights Officer with the Ontario Human Rights Commission. His volunteer experience has included activities as a mentor and Board Member at CultureLink, volunteer and Board Member of FoodShare and instructor and Board Member of Labour Community Services of the Labour Council of Toronto and York Region. He also served for six years as a Member of the Board of Governors of Humber College.
