HEALTHY BABIES EAT HOMECOOKED FOOD

Making your own baby food is easy and affordable. And best of all, you know exactly what’s in it!

FoodShare’s workshops offer hands-on training and basic baby nutrition information to groups of new parents in Toronto so they can learn how to feed their babies with confidence.

Groups can invite our trained peer leaders to come out to them and deliver the training (available in several languages other than English). Or individuals can attend one of the regularly scheduled workshops in central Toronto.

Workshops will teach you:

  • how to use simple equipment to make baby food,
  • how and when to introduce solid foods,
  • let you taste the difference between homemade and store-bought baby food,
  • how to adapt the food your family is eating to your baby’s needs
  • and how to handle and store food safely.

To organize a workshop for your group contact babyfood@foodshare.net
