Internships and student placements
FoodShare may be able to accommodate requests for internships and student placements from time to time. FoodShare considers internships/placements as positions that are connected to an educational institution (i.e. a high school or post-secondary institutions). Positions may be paid or unpaid depending on funding availability.
Students interested in completing an internship or student placement at FoodShare must send their resume, requirements of their internship/placement, and what area of FoodShare they would like to work with to the HR Coordinator at email@example.com. If an internship/placement position is available the HR Coordinator will follow up with the applicant and may request an interview. Successful applicants will then complete the intake process with the HR Coordinator.
Interns/placement students will be assigned a FoodShare supervisor who will work with them to establish work plan and learning goals. Their FoodShare Supervisor will also be responsible for signing off on time sheets and placement evaluations as required by the intern’s affiliated institution.
If you are an internship program coordinator who supervises multiple students and would like to find out more about internships, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
