Our city is full of farmable land, and you can grow food close to home at one of the many Community Gardens and Allotment gardens across Toronto. Community Gardens are pieces of land where people get together to grow food, and make decisions together to make the garden a vibrant community space. Whether it’s 100 garden plots or a 50-square-foot rooftop patch, community gardens are places where people share ideas, resources and experiences while growing food. Each garden is a partnership with the local community. Every year we support the start up and sustaining of community gardens and gardeners across the city.
