Thank you for your interest in partnering with FoodShare Toronto, a nonprofit food justice organization. Since 1996, FoodShare’s Community Food Distribution program has been supplying hundreds of organizations in Toronto with Grade A fruits and vegetables loose or in convenient, pre-packed boxes.
Community organizations, agencies, associations and other groups purchase fresh produce from our Community Food Distribution program to supply their meal programs and other food security initiatives. The proceeds from our social enterprise help to fund our community-led food justice work.
What We Offer
FoodShare delivers to Toronto and some Mississauga addresses only, with some exceptions for orders over 100 units. Please contact orders@foodshare.net for more information.
Why Choose FoodShare
- With every purchase made from FoodShare, you’re acting on your belief in the right to food. Proceeds from our Community Food Distribution program fund our community-based food justice work.
- You can easily place your order online. If you need additional support, our customer service representatives are available. Contact us six days a week by phone or email.
- We offer wholesale prices, small minimum orders, and free delivery on orders over $50.
- We deliver to your program location. Rather than just placing the items at the school’s front door our team brings your order right to where you need it.
- We source the freshest possible Grade A produce, with many options from nearby farms during the local growing season.
- We offer school-safe granola bars and snacks.
- We use GPS tracking for all deliveries. Provide your mobile number to us and receive texts when your order is ~30 minutes away, and when it has been delivered.

The Impact Your Purchase Makes
FoodShare is a food justice organization, advocating for the right to food, and working to challenge the systemic barriers that keep people from accessing the food they need to thrive. The proceeds from our food distribution social enterprise fund our support of community-led food initiatives and work alongside communities most affected by poverty and food insecurity: Black and Indigenous people, people of colour, people with disabilities, and folks living on a low income.
Whether it is supporting urban farms, subsidizing local produce markets, or developing food justice learning programs, our work is about folks accessing food on their own terms.
