Ellery sees food as a lens to highlight our similarities, celebrate our differences, and understand our values, a view she developed while exploring local markets, tasting new foods, and participating in cultural exchange through sharing recipes over years of traveling and working in different places.
As a People Operations Manager she works to advance organizational culture and values, which includes embedding food justice into all our work, including our training and hiring practices. She aims to foster an environment where people are empowered and challenged to do their best work, and where everyone can make a difference. Her background in international experiential education allows her to bring an inclusive, humble, and curious mindset to her work.
Outside of work, you can find Ellery baking and eating sourdough bread, napping, making lists to keep her life organized, and/or putzing around her garden with a coffee in hand.
