Fateha (they/them) identifies as a Bangladeshi queer femme settler – ally who has been working at the intersections of food security and community development within Scarborough and Toronto more broadly.

Fateha supports the Community Markets Support Program at FoodShare, which partners with community-based agencies and grassroots groups to start produce markets in their neighbourhoods. Their background in program/project management, public markets, board and governance strategic planning, and stakeholder logistics supports their equity-based approach focusing on solidarity based relationships that prioritize the needs of various communities experiencing marginalization.
