Natalie Cox, a seasoned horticulturalist and urban farmer is passionate about sustainable urban agriculture and solving food insecurity, she champions the inclusion and representation of Black and Indigenous urban farmers. With a rich background in the Jane and Finch community, Natalie has collaborated with Durham College and various local organizations to enhance food literacy and expand farmers’ markets. Her efforts include leading impactful workshops and securing significant funding for agricultural projects, stemming from her lifelong commitment to assisting the community become more food sovereign.
